Referência Art Gallery

Brasília, DF, Brasil
2013

A strong intervention was designed in the façade and the architecture itself was conceived as a frame for the art works. In the lighting project, two layers were developed: general lighting with indirect pendants and accent light with track lights.

As holistic and complete project, the lighting and architectural project were entirely developed. The gallery needed a new identity and the client requested an eye catching facade and a layout that simultaneously provide visual space for the artworks. A strong intervention was designed in the façade and the architecture itself was conceived as a frame for the art works. In the lighting project, two layers were developed: general lighting with indirect pendants and accent light with track lights.

In that way, the art works would have high reproduction color index and at the same time, the office and costumer service could happen under a functional lighting. The architectural design proposed a clean geometric sculptural structure, expressing the high quality of the galleries modern collection and differential in curatorship.
